By adopting a storm drain, I pledge to follow the motto "Don't Trash Your Trinity" by fulfilling the program standards:
I will not litter anywhere in Fort Worth.
I will keep harmful litter and debris from falling into my adopted storm drain(s) when conditions are safe, and I will contact the phone number on my drain plaque(s) when major maintenance is needed.
I will educate others that trash left on the ground eventually makes its way into a storm drain and ultimately ends up discharged in our river which thousands of people enjoy for recreation each year.
I will take photos of litter removed from my drain and upload them to the TRWD Trash Bash Challenge team accessed in the Rubbish app. This crowdsourced litter data helps us track what kind of litter contaminates our storm drains, where it is recurring, and how to best prevent the problem at the source.
